•    Ctrl+H - History of A/R or A/P transaction
•    Ctrl+Q - Quick Report on transaction or list item
•    Ctrl+M - Memorize transaction or report
•    Ctrl+N - New invoice, bill, check or list item in context
•    Ctrl+T - Open memorized transaction list
•    Ctrl+W - Write new check
•    Ctrl+F - Find transaction
•    Ctrl+J - Open Customer Centre
•    Ctrl+Z - Undo changes made in field
•    Alt+S - Save transaction
•    Alt+N - Save Transaction and go to next transaction

3.    Quick Math Calculator:

Calculations are an integrated part of accounting but calculator? It also is, with QuickBooks! QuickBooks provides you an integrated calculator. You may know about this feature but it has also a Quick Math calculator. By clicking inside the field and pressing = key you can use the calculator directly inside the field and can do your calculations efficiently.

4.    Use the right click:

QuickBooks gives you an additional set of menus via right click. E.g., in a register, you can right-click a specific transaction and that will display a shortcut menu that will allow you to memorize or void it, or create a Quick Report.
In a list, you can right-click a specific item. The right click menu displays the most common commands related to a specific task which improves the efficiency of the user.

5.    Memorized Transactions: 

For any company, there are certain transactions which occur frequently after a particular time. In that case, QuickBooks memorize these details and automatically fill for you at the scheduled intervals.

6.   Customize the icon bar: 

Even though there are a lot of features in QuickBooks, there would be some which you would use the most.
Now clubbing them at a place will make your work easier than ever. QuickBooks gives you the functionality through which you can customize your icon bar. This will help you save some time by making the access easier.

7.    Customize the background colour: 

Using more than one checking account makes the identification difficult for the user. Hence, QuickBooks has given the facility to change the background colour in the Edit menu.

8.    Merge two vendors: 

It can be the case that you mistakenly create two vendor names for the same vendor. In this case, you will need this feature of merging two vendors.
Go to Vendor Center, double-click on the vendor name you want to keep, copy the name in the first, top field. Now double-click on the vendor name you want to delete and paste the first vendor name. It will ask you if you want to merge. 


9.    Batch Invoicing:

QuickBooks 2011 and above, gives you the utility to generate invoices for more than one user in one go. The batch invoice feature also allows users to search for customers according to custom data fields and then invoice the resulting group. To access the tool, go to the Customers menu, and select Create Batch Invoices.

10.    Import credit card transactions:

QuickBooks gives you the tool to view your credit card transactions easily. You just save the details with your QuickBooks account and get rid of the error prone process of typing the card number every time. Go to the Banking menu, Enter Credit Card Charges and click the Download Credit Card Charges option at the top of the page.
